As many of you already know, I often have a number of small pieces starting at $50 for quick and easy gift giving or for filling that small space in your home that’s just begging for something special. The smallest I offer is my Doors + Window Series at 3×5″. They can be hung individually and look great in sets as well. I’m only bringing 40pcs with me the Artist Project so make sure you get there and have first dibs, they tend to go fast. This latest collection will include much from rural Ontario as well as New Brunswick and NovaScotia.

I’ve moved studios and I couldn’t be happier! This new space is absolutely beautiful and can’t wait to really get in there, set it up as needed and invite you all to see it. There are two spaces; a smaller from room flooded with light from floor to ceiling windows which I plan to open a gallery in and large back room that is my working studio. With the Artist Project coming next week, I haven’t had the chance to get things set up and organized, but my spring project will be just that.

Keep your eyes and ears open for my studio and gallery launch party which is scheduled to happen in May. And don’t be shy to come and check it out in the mean time, just drop me an email.

For preview’s sake, here are a couple pics of the gallery entrance….

The Artist Project is right around the corner and I’m thrilled to be participating in it again this year. My work has grown in leaps and bounds since last year’s show as I’ve delved more heavily into beeswax application. It has really satisfied my need to combine some hands on fine art skills with photography, something I’ve been trying to do for years. Every new piece, every new show, I get a little closer to that perfect balance…. although I doubt if I’ll ever be completely satisfied, it is what drives me and I wouldn’t want to lose that motivation!

Another big difference this year is that I’ll have our wee baby with me! My husband,
David Marshak, will be showing directly across from me and we’ll be sharing baby and business duties for the duration of the show. It should be fun, he’s a charmer and handsome little man if I do say so myself.

Join me for the opening reception on Thursday, March 1st, 6-10pm BOOTH #730
